Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a Mormon, serving the Lord in the Idaho Pocatello mission.

About Me

My name is Ryan, I am 21 years old, I am from Arizona and I am currently a missionary serving in the Idaho Pocatello mission. I love snowboarding and wakeboarding. I love sports, mainly football. I like anything that gets me outside and being active. I love everything about music. Playing guitar, writing music, listening to all different kinds of music, researching music, singing, everything. Music is a big part of who I am. I plan on going to school to become a physical therapist specializing in athletics.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I firmly believe that the Book of Mormon is true, and Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has made an incredible impact on my life and the direction it has gone in. Both of my parents are converts to the church. I have grown up in the church. However I have come to know for myself that this church is true through diligent prayer and scripture study. I am so greatful for the restored gospel and how it has blessed my life. It has changed my life and my family's life forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying and applying the principles taught in the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and the words of modern prophets. I strive to follow the teachings and example of Jesus Christ in all that i do and say, and serve others.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Ryan
The Book of Mormon reveals Gods plan for us. His plan is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. Our life on earth is a test. A test to see if we will follow Christ or follow otherwise. He wants us all to return to live with Him. The fall of Adam caused us to become mortal and to become subject to both spiritual and temporal death. God has given us our agency, the ability to choose right from wrong, and wants us to choose the right but we of course are not perfect and will make mistakes. No unclean thing can dwell with God. So in order for us to be able to be cleansed form our sins, someone had to pay for them and take them from us. That is what the Savior did. He suffered for eac and every one of our mistakes. So much that he bled from every poore. He "atoned" for those sins so we can have the opportunity to repent, be baptized, and be cleansed, so one day we can return to our Father in Heaven again, and live forever in happiness.
