Hi I'm Bill

I grew up in Virginia and have enjoyed playing in rock and roll bands since I was 14 years old. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been happily married for 38 years and have been bless with a loving wife, 3 loving daughters, 3 loving granddaughters and 2 loving grand-female chihuahuas. I grew up with 2 wonderful sisters so I have been out numbered all my life and love it. Women are a blessing to all of us. I have had a very successful career in Inofrmation Technology and retired from the County of Henrico after 37 1/2 years. I have worked with computers for most of my life and I am still amazed at the pace that technology moves and enriches our lives. I really enjoy learning about each new generation. I love music and have had the pleasure of playing in many bands over the years. My wife has even joined me as a lead singer in some of them. I think playing music with friends is much like playing sports on a team. We each use our talents to compliments each other. I also love doing family research or genealogy. It enriches my life with each new ancestor found and each new story learned. In five generations every ancestor discovered has been a Virginian. I have deep roots in America's first colony. It has deepened my love for our great country and our founding fathers.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons but the primary reason is because the Holy Ghost has born witness to me, Spirit to sprint, that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the restored church of the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe with all my heart that Jesus, Himself, restored His church through a humble, uneducated, young boy named Joseph Smith. I know of no greater news except the birth, life, atonement and resurection of Jesus Christ. Just think of it, Jesus has once again organizied His church with apostles, prophets, and all of the offices of His priesthood just as He did anchiently. Yes, Jusus is alive and well and loves each of us!

How I live my faith

My wife and I have been serving in the Church in many different callings ever since we joined the Church over 35 years ago. I am currently serving as our Stake's Assistant Clerk for both Membership and Historical records. My wife, Jane, is currently serving as our Ward's Relief Society President. All of our callings have brought many blessings to our lives and has allowed us to make many forever friends. I have witnessed many miracles in our lives, the lives of our children and in the lives of many of our friends. Truly, we have a Father in heaven that loves each of us. He loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son into the world to redeem us. I bare my witness that these things are true.
