Hi I'm Kent

I love being a Mormon

About Me

I'm a newly married family man. I roof part time while studying to eventually become a physical therapist.

Why I am a Mormon

My family as far back as I'm familiar with were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I was raised in a home active in the faith. In studying the scriptures, what the prophets and apostles teach today, and going to the temple frequently; I find it all to be good and to make sense. Additionally, it seems to me that the recorded teachings Christ and the ancient prophets and apostles completely match what is taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints today. It also seems apparent to me that there was a need for missing parts of the gospel that Christ taught to be restored. The biggest reason that I'm a Mormon is because I very much know that Jesus Christ took my sins, heartaches, hurts, and sorrows on Himself. I know that he can forgive, help, and heal me completely. In Christ I have found a savior and a friend. I know this through the teaching of the Holy Spirit as well as seeing in my life the fruits of living the gospel. I know that this is Jesus Christ's church. He leads it and declares His gospel as always, through His own voice and the prophets and apostles that He calls.

How I live my faith

What being a "Mormon" really means is to be a follower of Jesus Christ. My faith is centered in Him and our shared Father. By learning more of what They have taught and now teach, I come to know Them better. I know that They want me to be like Them. I'm working on putting in my best effort to become like They are, and am working alongside my wife to maintain a home active in Their restored gospel.
