Hi I'm Sali-Kai

I'm a Mormon, a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, an aunt, and a cousin.

About Me

I am a wife, a mother of four, and a sister to six. I love to read.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess you could say I'm a Mormon because I was born into a family that was Mormon. While this is true to a point, it's not the only reason I'm a Mormon. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I believe deeply the things taught in this church. I feel that I have had the Holy Ghost testify to me that what I hear and learn are true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day by day. I try to do as Jesus would have me do. I try to help others. I try to be a friend to everyone. I try not to judge. I try to be honest in all I do. I try to be patient with my children. I try to fulfil my church duties. I try to keep the commandment that have been given by Jesus Christ. And when I fail to do all I think I should, I get up the next day and start trying all over again. One of the former presidents of the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Harold B. Lee (1899-1973), taught: "Don't try to live too many days ahead. Seek for strength to attend to the problems of today. . . . Do all that you can do and leave the rest to God, the Father of us all. It is not enough to say I will do my best, but rather, I will do everything which is within my power; I will do all that is necessary." (Teachings of the Presidents of the Church: Harold B. Lee; p. 8)
