Hi I'm Colton

I am a sport fanatic. My life consists of smiling and laughing at everything. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love anything that has to do with sports. I love my family and we do a ton of things together. I am in the middle of four siblings. I am missionary right now and have put everything on hold for 2 years to serve my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I'm a very social person and love the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has brought me complete joy and comfort in my life. I have been a member my whole life and have been truly grateful for my mom keeping me strong by going to church every week. The thing that has brought me the most joy and happiness is The Book of Mormon. Everytime I read it, I feel the Holy Ghost testifying to me that it is a true. I read every single day because that is where I go to learn of Jesus Christ and His love for me. Everything I do in my life are based on the gospel and the principles I have been taught.

How I live my faith

Right now, I am a missionary serving in Connecticut for two years and it is amazing. Everyday I go and share with people how they can come closer to there Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through faith, repentance, baptism, the gift of the Holy Ghost and endure to the end. I do this because I know that it is what Heavenly Father wants me to do for his children so that they can have happiness and live with him again.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Colton
Why wouldn't we believe in the Bible. I know that it is the word of God. It speaks of Jesus Christ and His ministry. It speaks of Heavenly Father and His plan for us. Without the Bible, we would not have the fulness of the gospel. It testifies of the truthfulness of The Book of Mormon as The Book of Mormon testfies that the Bible is true. Show more Show less

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Colton
The priesthood authority is defined as permission to act in God's name. If we are baptized by authority, then we know that it is from God and that he accepts it. And a way that we know that he accepts it is by telling us through our feelings. Show more Show less
