Hi I'm Brian

I'm a Economics major and I a Mormon.

About Me

I'm studying Economics with a minor in business. I plan to go to law school and be in the courtroom. I play ultimate frisbee weekly and hang out with friends on weekends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a Mormon because I know it's true and it helps me in life. A good friend once told me my religion is all in my mind, that "No matter how much a person wants something to be true, that doesn't make it true." I can honestly say that I believe what he said, but I know as sure as I live that my religion is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading in the Bible and Book of Mormon regularly, attending church and living a good life. The Mormon church teaches to stand apart from the world in virtuous actions, and I do this by staying away from things like alcohol, smoking and pornography. These kinds of standards help me be healthy and have the clarity of mind to be the best person I know how to be.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

The purpose of life is to live a good life, find out what God's will is and return to him after having worked as hard as we could. Show more Show less

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Yes. I read the Bible every day and I love it. Show more Show less

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

To become a member of the Mormon Church you have to understand what it means to be a member and believe in the Church's teachings. I'm sure there are links on this website to talk to missionaries about whether or not you are ready to join the Mormon Church. It's not something you should do lightly; it's a big commitment, but it will change your life for the better and help you be the best you can be. Show more Show less
