Hi I'm Judy

I worked as a computer programmer/analyst for many years. Now I'm retired and busier than ever. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I learned to conduct music and play the piano to add to the set of skills that I bring to my church service. I also love to use computers and to do genealogy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert from the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (now called the Community of Christ). I became a Mormon at the age of 19 while attending college. It was a difficult decision because my parents were bitterly opposed to any connection with the Mormon church. However, my decision to join this church was the best decision I ever made.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon is a 24/7 lifestyle. As we live the teachings of Jesus Christ, our whole lives are affected - for the better, in my opinion. In addition, we make commitments to be of service in our local church groups. I play the piano/organ in our local church services and am working with the Relief Society, the organization for the women of the church. I have also worked in the Young Women (girls aged 12-18), and Primary (children under 12). My husband and I work together in our local Family History Center.
