Hi I'm Jace Galloway

I'm a former Atheist, an Entrepeneur, an Author, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Young Single Adult, I love to play Volleyball, I love to dance, and I love my family & friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I like to credit me being a Mormon now to the Elders that found and taught me & my mother. But truth is I know that Heavenly Father put me in several situations over the year leading up until then, these experiences humbled me so I would be prepared for that day. Without His Spirit guiding me and my desire to find something meaningful in my life to give me the hope I wanted, I would not have been willing to listen to those two men that knocked on my door in white shirts and ties on a hot Janurary afternoon in sunny San Diego.

How I live my faith

I love to share my testimony of how even those that are not versed in the Scriptures and struggle to understand them can still have strong testimonies and be examples of Faith and Trust in the Lord to everyone. I try my best to bring joy into others lives, I have been blessed with a keen sense of quick wit and comedic ability that is useful when I do stand-up but is much more of a blessing off the stage. Bringing laughter into any conversation or situation is one way to feel joy, and joy is what our God wants for us. I have served in many callings but mostly helping with and orginizing church activities during the week. But my favorite calling is Home Teaching, I love Home Teaching because my first Home Teacher that came to visit me and my mother after we got baptized is now my best friend and the biggest role model I have on this Earth.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Jace Galloway
No, although it is encouraged it is essentially ones own choice to go. It is a great thing to do, especially since it is not easy but it build character and a strong testimony of the Gospel. Show more Show less

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Jace Galloway
Fortunately we have missionaries who dedicate two years of their life who leave home to do just that. You have probably seen them before, riding their bikes around town in shirt and tie. They are easy to contact since this is the website to get a pair of them to come to you, call you, or just chat online to answer any questions you have. Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Jace Galloway
Mormon missionaries made their own decision to commit two years of their early adult lives to serving the Lord and His people. They proselyte to find the ready and willing to learn of His teachings. Show more Show less

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Jace Galloway
Visitors are not just allowed but are encouraged. Church services are very congregation based, usually a few members of the group you attend will have been asked (but are able to decline) to give a talk on different subjects of the gospel. I like this because it not only gives us the chance to learn more on the subject but also about our friends speaking. Show more Show less
