Hi I'm Marc

I love sports, family, and potatoes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a common Idaho boy. I grew up a member of the church and had a great family that did a lot together. We've always enjoyed sports, the outdoors, and any other excuse to have fun. I was taught at a young age to work hard and play hard. I enjoyed school and friends. I've had trials like anyone else and lessons that have helped me learn what I really wanted out of life. I went on a mission to Quito, Ecuador and had the experience of a lifetime. What a great opportunity to teach the gospel and grow personally. I returned home and married my highschool sweetheart and best friend. Together, we have three little boys and have shared in finding joy through living the gospel in our everyday lives. I work at a potato packing plant and struggle like other dads trying to balance my time between priorities. I've been blessed with many opportunities to learn and grow. I love my family and enjoy what I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I originally chose to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints because it felt right and my family belonged to the church. I since have gained a burning testimony of my own, which is why I'm still a mormon. I've learned for myself that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and is the only way to truly be happy in this life and in the life to come. All that is unjust in this world can be remedied through the atonement of our Savior. I've had experiences that have led my to a knowledge of the truthfulness of this modern-day work and am convinced that I will never distance myself from covenants I have made.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to do what I know to be right seven days a week and not just on Sundays. When I make mistakes, I repent. I make ammends and try to do better tomorrow. I share my testimony with others because I want them to know what I know and share in the joy that I have found. I love getting to help so many great people and see how the gospel changes lives. I'm amazed at how much I learn from others each day. I used to think that the gospel with the biggest part of my life. I now realize that the gospel IS my life and that everything else I do is a means to a greater end, whether it be work, play, etc. I live my faith by trying to become more like Jesus Christ.
