Hi I'm Lori

I am a single mother, a nurse and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of two amazing teenage boys. I was a stay at home mom until my divorce, then I needed to provide an income for my boys so I went to nursing school to get my RN. I am an Orthopedic nurse at a hospital and work nights. I enjoy going to Archery practice with my boys and spending as much time with my boys as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon, when I was 14 I decided sleep was more important than church and I stopped going. I was inactive for most of my adult life. It was my 15 year old son that decided that he wanted to go to church. (long story in the middle) it wasn't long and he was telling me that I needed to start going to church with him. I did. I had not realized how much I needed the Savior in my life and the load that has been lifted since I returned!

How I live my faith

I am our Single Adult Representative of our Ward, I attend Sunday services regularly and enjoy the friendships and family enriching activities that are planned and prepared each month. My son really enjoys the youth activities that he attends each week. It really is like an extended family that we go to church with.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?
