Hi I'm Kelsie

I am a Nurse who lives in LA. My husband and family are the most important things to me. I'm happy to be a mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have been living in LA for almost a year now. I love the diversity and that there is so much to do around here. Though, I still haven't got used to the crowds and traffic. I work as a Nurse at a donation center. I have recently started getting into national news and I worry about the future of the world and wish I could do more to help. I work with the children at my church, from ages 18 mo to 11 yrs. They are fun and energetic, and a great example for me. In my spare time I like to spend time with my husband and friends watching movies, going to the beach or anywhere outdoors, playing sports, or just reading a good book. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church. Since I was young my mom always took me to church and I loved the things I was taught about Christ and God's plan for us and the feelings I had while I was there. I have always tried to live what I am taught because I have found that when I do I am happiest. I know that God lives and that Christ died for me, and that means everything to me. To put is simply... I'm a Mormon because I love it!

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I try my best to fulfill my calling in the Primary. It is not always easy, in fact hardly ever, but I still enjoy it and find pleasure in serving the Lord by teaching and helping his children. However, Sunday is not the only day I try to serve the Lord. Every day I try to live the teachings of Christ. I try to say uplifting things to others and to be a friend to everyone. In the world today I feel it can be very hard to stand up for morals and religious beliefs when it is not the popular belief, but I constantly try my best. Above all every day I try to remember Christ and what he has done for me and hopefully pass on some of his love, peace, and comfort to others.
