Hi I'm Levi

I like to draw. I love the outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a full-time proselyting mission in the Australia Melboune Mission. Before serving a mission I completed 2 years of a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food, I plan to complete my final year when i return home. I like to draw, with pencils, pens etc and also on computer. i enjoy trying to grow bonsai and other interesting plants. I love watching movies and listening to music with my friends, family and by myself. I love the outdoors! camping, hiking, canoeing/kayaking etc anything outside in the beautiful big wide world. i love my dog back home, Aerlhia. i like taking roadtrips, feeding the ducks and watching the clouds.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because... after reading and pondering upon it, I have sincerely knelt and prayed to ask God the Eternal Father in the name of Jesus Christ if the Book of Mormon is true. Consistent with the reiterated promise throughout the scriptures that if we ask in faith with real intent, we will recieve answers to our prayers. I recieved an answer through the power of the Holy Spirit that the Book of Mormon is true, that it is the word of God. All of the other pieces fell into place, and the Holy Spirit bares witness of the truth of it all. Jesus Christ restored the fullness of his gospel to the earth by calling a prophet, Joseph Smith. Through Joseph Smith, Jesus Christ was able restore the original organisation of his church with a foundation of Apostles and Prophets. An organisation that will be the same yesterday, today and forever just as Christ intended it. As such we have a Prophet today Thomas S. Monson who recieves guidance and revelation for our day and how we can best follow our saviour Jesus Christ in a world which is filled with so much tension and confusion. I am grateful that the Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever and that he will not leave us without direction. What a blessing it is to have a prophet. Lastly I am a mormon because I love my Saviour Jesus Christ and I will always strive to do the things that he would have me do to live worthy of the sacrifice that he made for me individually and all mankind and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints helps me to be the person that Jesus Christ wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by... volunteering to serve a full-time mission, to try to share with others, the blessings i can see in my own life from living the gospel. continually striving to better myself and foster within my nature christ-like attributes. learning all that I can about Jesus Christ and what he expects of me in this life, by prayer, scripture study, attending church and living the gospel.
