Hi I'm John

I'm from the east coast of the United States. I love to skimboard. I live. I climb. I am, Mormon.

About Me

I come from a large family with seven other siblings. I am the fourth oldest and have followed in my brothers footsteps getting my Eagle Scout, going to high school and now being on a mission. In high school I played tennis and soccer. I started playing tennis in grade 10 and love it! I also love being outsid. I love the outdoors and when it is sunny it is even better. My favorite season of the year is summer time. Oh yeah! School is out, the weather is hot, you can wear shorts and flip flops and you don't have to worry about anything. This is the time of the year where humidity really sets in on the east coast and your sweating just walking out of the house. During these hot and humid months I go to the beach to cool off and to skimboard. Skimboarding is probably my favorite beach activity. I love it! It is just you, the board and the wave and so much fun. I also really enjoy being with my family they are a big part of who I am.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born with both of my parent's as members. They brought me up in loving home atmosphere. I was taught the teachings of Jesus Christ and I followed them because I didn't want to do something bad. But as I followed them and still follow them I have found that they give me a sense of direction. They bring me safty and it has been through living them that I have come to know that The Book of Mormon is true and that we have prophets on the earth today. It gives me more purpose in life. I know that when I die that is not the end. I am a child of God, he loves me and wants me to be happy now and forever.

How I live my faith

Well I am not perfect, but I try my best. I live my faith by always trying to be respectful, happy, kind, obedient, basically living the scout law. Not because I have to but because it really makes me happier and that is what Christ did when he was on the earth. I try to do what He did. Right now I am serving a mission, teaching others about His wonderful gospel and looking for ways to help others. This is something that brings me happiness and I want other people to have that same joy.
