Hi I'm Grant Warren

I'm a Mormon. I converted to the church when I was 16 years old in Boulder Colorado.

About Me

I'm the father of 6 children and 11 grandchildren. My wife and I have been married 38 years. We both went to BYU. I' m the CEO and President of a Assisted Living Corporation specializing in the Mental Ill and Developmentally Disabled. I love to travel, play golf and go to BYU Education Week. I'm a Vietnam Vet. I served in the USAF from 1967-1970. I was a Para Medic. I love to do things with my sons, we play golf, ski, etc. I really love to do things with my only daughter. She has taught me to love Broadway Musicals and my wife and I go with her our favorite musicals. Oklahoma! is our favorite. All our sons are College Grads ( Cougars) and have good jobs. Our daughter is a Junior at BYU. She recently was a Disney Princess. I power walk everyday to be fit. I love to visit our clients and feel some of their unconditional love.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Savior Jesus Christ and have a testimony of his infinite Atonement. I have received many spiritual witnesses of the Prophet Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon As I live the commandments I am convinced that you do prosper in the land as the result. I testify that as you live as Christ would have jus live we can overcome all the adversities of life. I know that love and forgiveness is the key to maintaining loving relationships in our lives. There is no room in life for any kind of disrespect for others. I feel joy when serving others and serving in my Church calling. Activity in the Church brings me great joy.

How I live my faith

I pray for Charity every night and try to treat others kindly. I try to avoid contention and love everyone. Sometimes that hard but I feel it is important to find the good in everyone. I pay tithing and attend my Sunday meetings. I try to do my calling as best I can and love my wife, children and grandchildren.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Grant Warren
It is my believe that women are partners with God to create physical bodies for our spirits. That fact alone gives them so much power and responsibility. They do not need to hold the Priesthood because they have such a partnership with God. I believe Men hold the Priesthood to be equal with Women. My wife is the COO of our Corporation and is a very strong educated Women and has no problem with this issue. She loves her role as a mother and wife. Show more Show less
