Hi I'm Audrey

I love my family! I love living in the foothills of North Georgia. I love being Christian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I would say that I've lived a pretty ordinary life. I haven't done anything amazing but I love where I am and the blessings in my life. I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. My mom and dad love me and gave me a beautiful childhood. I went to cosmetology school in high school and then went to Brigham Young University and earned a degree in teaching. My education has been such a blessing in my life! In college I met my husband and life has never been dull since! I have been a full time mom for about 18 years now. It's the hardest job I've ever had and I love it! Our four daughters have really taught me a lot about life. I love spending time with my husband and our girls. We like to travel, take care of our home and yard, and play with our dog and two rabbits.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I am trying to obey His commandments and follow His example. Being a Mormon helps me to do this. The Book of Mormon has helped my testimony of Jesus Christ to grow and is another testament of Jesus Christ along with the Bible. Being a Mormon has also helped me to know my value and the purpose of this life. I love the importance the church places on families because I love my family very much.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and trust in Him. I've found that as I apply His teachings in my life, I find peace and happiness through the good and the bad times. I have found that I can move forward each day knowing that if I trust in Him I won't be let down. I'm so thankful for His example and love!

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Audrey
Being a Mormon is great! We enjoy many of the same activities others do like going to school, working, spending time together as a family, enjoying nature, playing sports, and hanging out with friends. We go to church once a week on Sunday and sometimes we have special activities during the week. There are great programs for children, youth, young adults, and adults. We value our families and place great value on spending time together. We have family prayer, family scripture study, and at least one night a week devoted to spending time together as a family and learning the gospel. Show more Show less
