Hi I'm Ben Wright

I'm a husband, I'm a student, I'm soon to be a father, I'm a musician, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Utah and like to travel. I really enjoy playing my violin and my guitar. I also like to sing. When I was 19 I chose to serve a two-year mission because I love the Lord Jesus Christ. I was blessed to serve people in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. I loved being a missionary and cherish every experience. My wife and I are both working while attending university. I am studying Finance and love everything I'm learning. Our lives are not easy, but we love the gospel of Christ and know that everything will be ok because of Him. I really think that life is to be enjoyed without neglecting responsibilities or opportunities for growth.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because God answers my prayers. When I was a child I prayed to know if He lives. I felt His presence as an answer. Since then I have prayed many times to know if Joseph Smith was a prophet and also to know if Christ's church really was restored through him. I know, through the manifestations of the Holy Ghost, that Joseph Smith was God's chosen prophet to restore Christ's church back on the earth. My prayers have been answered and continue to be answered as I continue to plead with heaven. I also know that the Book of Mormon is true because God, through His Holy Spirit, has made known to me the truthfulness of that book. I am a Mormon because Jesus lives, He is my Savior, as well as yours, He has never let me down and I know He never will.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is a combination of what I think, say, and do. My thoughts form my words, my words precede my actions, my actions create my habits, and my habits make me who I am. The gospel of Jesus Christ is about BECOMING like Christ though this process. I am so grateful that Christ's Atonement and grace make it possible for me to change and become more like Him. Because He is perfect I exercise my faith in Him. I live my faith by continually learning more about Christ and constantly striving to emulate His teachings. All He asks is that we do the best we can. My faith in Christ helps me stay hopeful in this crazy world. It daily gives me light and courage. Faith is a gift, and I am grateful for it!
