Hi I'm Victor

London-Nigeria-Cali-SLC I want to be a doctor, MD or PhD, & eventually a fiction author LDS Mission in Nevada I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in London, so I guess you could say I'm British. All the other members of my family are from West Africa. I love to read fantasy fiction. That's probably my favorite thing. I love movies too. My favorite one is "Meet Joe Black". I am attending the University of Utah which working at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, in the clinical research dept. I love playing sports, reading, playing games, show, and movies movies movies movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm not just a Mormon because my parents chose to convert. I've had to ask myself several times why I live these standards and defend this church. I'm Mormon because I know that this Church is true. When it comes down to it, truth is truth. It can't be hid, when you are looking at it right in the face. I grew up in the church, but I have become a convert to this religion. I know it is all true because I've felt it in my heart and understood it in my mind; by way of the Holy Spirit. I've read the Book of Mormon, and I know that no one could write that book even if they had more wisdom than Plato, Aristotle, and Socrates combined. I know it was written by the hands of ancient prophets and translated by a prophet in the last days.

How I live my faith

I go to a singles group. Everyone's between the ages of 18-31.I am in charge of all the activities that go on in my congregation. We had a few movie nights, bonfires at the beach, game nights, dances with other peers, and just basically a ton of fun. I also have the privilege of visiting a few of the members of the group, a couple times a month. We get to know each other pretty well. I learn how to be selfless, so that I can be a support for them.

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

Because we believe God is the same, yesterday, today and forever.. When Jesus Christ called the 12 Apostles, that was supposed to last forever. The restoration in the latter days restored the holy apostleship back to the Earth. Show more Show less
