Right now im serving a 2 year full-time Mission for my church and my God in the Mississsippi Jackson Mission. Ive served in Shreveport, La, Brookhaven, Ms, New Boston, Tx, Picayune, MS, Brandon, MS, and Clinton, Ms. I love the South but it could do without the humidity!!! I love the outdoors camping, muddin, hunting, and hiking are some of my favorites. Also i enjoy hangin out with friends listening to music and Being with MY Family!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have had such a blessing to be brought up in this religion. But not only because I was brought up in it, but because I've prayed to my Heavenly Father to see if the Book of Mormon was the true word of God. My answer was clear, my heart was touched. The Book of Mormon is True and This is Gods Church. I love it with all of my heart and wouldnt trade a thing for it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by knocking on doors in Freezing Cold or Blistering Hot weather to try and share with people Gods Eternal Plan for them, and how they can achieve it.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Josh
Lets take this question back to before the time of Jesus Christ. Before Jesus there were Prophets that had this authority called the priesthood. People like Noah, Moses, Ezekiel, and Joshua all Old Testament prophets had this authortiy or priesthood to baptize. They all had hands laid upon there heads and were given the priesthood. Well, as time went on this got passed down to worthy males all the way upto the time of John the Baptist, who received his athority from his father Zacharias. When Jesus Christ went to be baptized he didnt just go up to any person on the street and ask them to baptize him. He went to John the Baptist to baptize him. Over 40 miles away. He walked. Because he had that Priesthood and Authority to baptize. After Jesus Christ was crucified, along with his followers who were killed and rejected. The cornerstone and foundation of his gospel was taken out and off the earth. Along with the Authority to act in his name. But as we know God loves his children and at the right time will bless us with another prophet and a restoration of his gospel. Both of which we have Today! and i am so thankful for that! Hebrews 7. Question: What is the difference between an Ice Cream Man turning on his lights and pulling you over, trying to give you a ticket and a Police Man? Answer: Authority. Show more Show less
