Hi I'm Anne

I raised 8 children in chaos and love. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a grandma with lots of kids and grandkids. I love to sing in choirs and read and do stuff on my computer. I don't love vacuuming or doing laundry.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I've been a Mormon since I was born, I didn't inherit my belief. Many experiences have given me the faith that is now a large part of who I am. My parents taught us righteous principles in our home, and I always felt a deep love for God. Then as I grew up, some sweet spiritual experiences made that love grow and blossom. I know that God lives. I know that Jesus Christ is His Son, and that He was more than just a wonderful teacher. He was and is the literal Son of God. He died on the cross for all of us and because of Him, we will have the opportunity to live with Them again after we leave this life.

How I live my faith

Just going to church and participating in classes is always wonderful, but in addition to that, serving others gives such great joy. I have been able to do that in a variety of ways, but for quite a few years I've served as a choir director in our ward. I did have some college training in music, although many choir directors in our church don't have that opportunity. But few of our choir members have any training at all. We always struggle to have enough singers, as well as finding time to fit choir practice into the lives of busy members. Still, we rejoice together in raising our voices to praise the Lord, and savor the sweetness of beautiful music combined with our spiritual testimonies.
