Hi I'm Regina

I am a mother, I am a wife, I am a daughter, I am a woman! I am a mormon!!

About Me

I have been married for six years to my best friend. Together we have three beautiful children. I recently graduated college and hope to return in May for my Master's degree in education. I love to read, scrapbook, play wii, and hang with the fam.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My parents were members and so I was too. later in life (around sixteen) I found that I was a bit of an adventurous soul and became inactive. For years I wandered around in the world slowly but surely becoming more miserable as the days passed. In my heart I always felt that something was missing. I needed to find out if I was a mormon because my parents always took me or because I felt that it was the truth. After one of my brothers died I went back to church and found solace in the teachings but it was not enough to keep me active for long. Another brother died and I had so little faith that I turned to alcohol rather than Jesus. My life took a miserable turn and I was almost at rock bottom even though I continued to get up and smile at each new day. I met my future husband in december of 2003. He was an atheist. Nice! After we became serious I had a change of heart. I knew that he was worth more than I could give him without Heavenly Father in my life. Ultimately I convinced him to attend church with me one time just to see what it was like. He went with the promise extracted from me that I not ask him ever again. I kept my promise but continued going myself. I then proceded to read my scriptures and that is all. Finally he began to ask me tons of questions and when I ran out of answers I called the missionaries. On October 30,2004 my fiance' was baptized. My life in the gospel has its trials but it holds so much more true happiness for me than my life without it. I am fulfilled and I know that I am a child of God who really does know me personally. I cannot imagine continuing through life without being a mormon. I know what it is like to have the truth and I know what it is like to live without it. I will not live withou it ever again!

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday. In all things that I do and with all people whom I interact. I am not even close to perfect but I try!
