Hi I'm Carolyn

I have 9 children, 5 step children and 55 grandchildren. I am serving our US Air Force airmen. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, a mom, a stepmom, a grandma, and I love people! I enjoy music and I play the piano and love to sing. I enjoy reading and traveling, and I even enjoy housework!

Why I am a Mormon

I was adopted as a newborn and raised in a small Idaho town by LDS Mormon parents. I had such a wonderful upbringing, with good parents, grandparents, neighbors and friends. I had a "magical" childhood. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has made all the difference in my life. It doesn't mean that I haven't had trials it just means that with the gospel, I have been able to handle them in the right way. I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are aware of me. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints makes me happy!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the word of God in the scriptures, praying for some direction and then going out and doing things for people who need help. Right now, my husband and I are serving an 18-month "mission" for our church, helping our military personnel at Keesler AFB. We serve a couple of days a week at the base hospital and conduct a pornography addiction support group once a week.

How can we stop the spread and influence of pornography?

Carolyn
As citizen and parents and just good people, we need to educate ourselves concerning pornography and the devastation it is causing in our nation and throughout the world. Because of the internet, it is anonymous, accessible and affordable and it IS an addiction. Speak out! Contact your congressmen, talk about it to your families, in the schools and communities and support anti-pornography groups. If good people everywhere band together, it will make a difference. The Mormon church is speaking out on this issue. They have a wonderful website, combatingpornography.org. Another good sight is outinthelight.com.   Show more Show less
