Hi I'm Scott

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Southern California where I grew up in Rowland Heights. I was an avid baseball player and horse rider. I was involved in Marching Band in school and Drum and Bugle Corps over the summer. I was also in my high school's FFA chapter and served as Chapter President. After school I started working in pizza delivery and then car parts delivery. I then moved to Phoenix where I began my career in landscaping then met my wife and began raising our 3 daughters. I now work for a major landscape company as a cerified backflow tester and irrigation technition. I spend my free time hanging out with my family and bugging my friends on facebook.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church through my mother, my father was a devout Roman Chatholic along with his entire side of his family. My mother's side had no affilation with any religion and her and my aunt activly searched many churches to find their place in life. I grew up attending church with my mother in my home town and took little interest in being active as a child due to having ADHD and had trouble paying attention to lessons and priciples so I didn't understand much of the gospel on the exception of stories I have heard through lessons. When I was a teenager, I drifted away from the church and started hanging out with friends who led me in different directions. I started attending other churches with friends by their request and looked for a place to belong. After I graduated I from school I started making decisions that led me further away from the gospel and my family. After a few years of marriage, things started becoming complicated between us and I started looking for solutions to save our marriage, I remembered a chapter in the Gospel Principles book and started reading, I then recieved comfort from the spirit and recieved the prompting to read the entired book, I then realized what I needed to do to save our marriage and learned the meaning of life and I am now very active in the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in a very simple way, I study the scriptures daily, keep the commandments, and devote myself to my family and friends in honesty and service
