Hi I'm Brad

I am Mormon. I am happy. Soy Mormon, soy feliz!

About Me

I am 28. I work for a major financial institution as a manager in our Fraud department. I recently married my better half in the temple. I love to SCUBA dive, and consider myself to be a huge computer geek.

Why I am a Mormon

My father's side of the family has been members of the church for many generations. In fact, I can trace my ancestors to individuals that were baptized in the first few months of the church's organization in 1830. My mother's side of the family is Catholic. Her family goes to church every week, and is very devoted to their religion. And as a matter of fact, she has two aunts who are nuns. Mom decided to join the church in college after she decided to listen to some missionaries, just to find out more about her high school sweetheart's religion. But enough about them, this is about me. Although I grew up as a member of the church, it is hard to explain the peace that the gospel brings into my life. I love that I can receive personal guidance from our Heavenly Father. I am most happy when I am abiding by the commandments. I love my wife very much, and I want this relationship to last forever. And I know that through the power of God, and through his priesthood that has been restored to the earth through his prophets, I can be married with my sweetheart for all time and all eternity, which makes me very happy.

How I live my faith

I am very active in my church. I teach classes in our Sunday School meetings and I am also the Assistant Clerk responsible for the congregation's finances. I regularly attend Sunday meetings, and love to attend the Temple when I have the opportunity to take the time out of my schedule.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

One of the awesome things about Mormon temples is that we have the opportunity to be married, or sealed, for all eternity with our spouse. Since this is such as sacred act, only those members who have been closely living the commandments are able to enter. There is nothing secret or weird about it. We just want to make sure that we have an environment where the Spirit of the Lord is able to more fully penetrate our souls. Show more Show less
