Hi I'm Tyson

I grew up on a farm in Idaho. Now I'm a big-city accountant who sometimes misses the farm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently an accountant and tax consultant for multi-million-dollar businesses and individuals. My hobbies include woodworking, water skiing, singing, ice-cream making, and just trying to make the world a better place for my having been in it. I've been happily married to the most beautiful woman in the world now for 11 wonderful years, and we have 6 rambunctious children that make life anything but dull.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints originally because my parents were members, my grandparents were members, and my great-grandparents were members. But I decided to stay a member and be a member of this church when I was a freshman in college trying to decide if I wanted to go on a mission for the church. I made my decision to go after praying and asking God if Joseph Smith, Jr. was his prophet and if the Book of Mormon was a true scriptural record. God answered that prayer, and I've never been the same since.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith so that every aspect of my life reflects what I believe. I often fall short, but I trust that Jesus Christ will help me to become the man I should be. I believe the strength of my faith comes from the small and simple choices that make up every hour, every day, every month, and every year of my life. I currently work with a very large group of young men and their leaders. My hope is to help them become good, honest husbands and fathers and contributing members of the communities they live in. I also hope to help them know that God loves them and will answer their prayers.
