Hi I'm Steve

I'm from Alaska, I love to hike, snowboard, hunt, fish, bike, and run in the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 20 years old, I'm the oldest child in my family... and I love it! I've got a teenage brother and two sisters! I've lived most of my life in various remote places althroughout the great and often misunderstood state of Alaska. Most of my favorite things to do involve being outdside, and yes, it can get cold and snowy sometimes but its better then breathing in smog or pollution. Currently I'm not going to school, but I plan on attending Montana State for their pre-dental program. I like a good adventure and I'm always down with chillin with friends. I can be a little rebellious, stubborn, and headstrong at times but at the end of the day I love my family and I know that I was raised with good morals and standards.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because in this world of pain and turmoil the only thing that I could find that brings peace and comfort to my soul is a strong testimony in the Lord Jesus Christ and a knowledge of his plan for me. Haha, this might sound fake and unobtainable but if you love your family like I do then you have felt and understand a little of the Savior's love for each of us. My life has changed because I found this gospel and I wouldn't give this up for all the treasure in this war torn world.

How I live my faith

Over time I've had the opprotunity to serve in many different positions in the church. I've had to prepare short lessons on a variety of gospel topics such as the Creation, Priesthood, the Plan of Salvation, Faith, Repentance, Baptism... from the Old Testament, New Testament, and The Book of Mormon. I'm now serving a mission, spending all my time teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others and sharing the peace, comfort, and happiness that I enjoy.
