Hi I'm Ashley

I'm from Georgia, Love Football, cars and good southern food! I'm a mormon!

About Me

Im 21 years old and currently serving a mission in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission for two years. I'm from a small town called Thomasville. I went to college after high school for a short time. I love football, big time! I'm a huge fan of cars! Cars and sports, two great things! Me and my buddies always spent as much time as we could working on our cars, and trying to catch in some good football.I love the outdoors, I hate being cooped up inside, theres definitely more to life than inside the house! I worked construction for a little while during and after high school. I love grilling up some good food! I love being a mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I truly love my Savior. I know that he lives. I feel that I can serve him best by being a member of his "Restored" church, and sharing my feelings with others. Being a Mormon means peace and happiness throughout my life! What else do I need? I have seen miracles in my life, and especially over the past year or two. I know that miracles are brought to pass by our faith. I know that he lives, and you can know too.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving a mission. For two years I have put my personal life on hold and given it to the Lord. What this means is that I teach others about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We knock door to door(Which most people just love that when we do it), talk to everyone we come into contact with and people who are referred to us by friends and families of the individuals. Missionaries love being missionaries! For two years we discover who we are, because were serving others, not ourselves. All missionaries have a partner they work with, and are referred by us as companions. You learn to stop saying "I" and "me", instead you say "We" and "Us". I have experienced happiness in my life, but serving others 24/7 has brought me a joy I cannot reproduce in any other way! I love it! This is what the Lord did, he served others by teaching his Gospel. So were doing the same thing, and its the best thing I've ever done in my life!

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The missionaries are going to share a few things. On the first visit they will most likely talk about a few things. One: How the "Gospel" or "good news" can benefit you and your family. Two: Why God called Prophets in the past such as Moses, Noah and Abraham. Three: and How the Church started again after being lost. But, the greatest part is that they will teach you how you can know for yourself if any of it is true or not! Show more Show less
