Hi I'm James

I enjoy hiking, biking, and climbing. I'm a missionary. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary serving my Lord for the next 2 years in western Nevada. I enjoy spending time with my friends, riding my bike, and talking to others about the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have come to know that it is true. I find that as I live the teachings of the gospel, search the scriptures, and attend church that I feel the love God has for me and my family. I find joy in the knowledge that God has a plan for me and wants my family to be together forever.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full-time missionary for the church in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission. I love being able to help others find the same happiness that I enjoy. Before now I have helped in the scouting program through the church.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

It is a group of people who gather together to worship God. It is usually organized geographically, and is led by members of the ward who have been given responsibility to watch over and care for the other members of the ward. The most important part about having a ward is that we are like a big family: we spend time together, have fun, and help each other out. When there are several wards in an area, they are grouped together in what we call a stake. The stake has it's own leaders who serve and help members of the wards fufil their responsibilities. We love visitors, so please feel welcome to come worship with us! Show more Show less
