Hi I'm Nate

I enjoy playing the saxophone, going wakeboarding, and studying physics. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Las Vegas West. I was born into the church but still had to discover the truth on my own. It was difficult to come on a mission and leave my friends and family behind. But since I have been here and seen people's lives improve I am so grateful I made that decision. After I get home, I plan on going to college and getting an engineering degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that its true. Its that simple. I figure its either true or it isn't. And I have found through reading and studying that it is true. It makes me happy when I go to church and I feel good when I do the right things. I'm Mormon because my family is Mormon, and I was born into the church. While growing up, my parents were great examples to me and showed me how to live a good life. But even with that, I know for myself that the Mormon Church is right for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day by trying to be a good example and also by being a missionary to those who haven't heard the truth. I try to live what the gospel teaches and truly be a Christian person. One example is by going on a mission to talk to others about the church. I have personally decided to do this for the next 2 years of my life in order to help other people. I have also committed myself to reading the scriptures and saying my prayers each day. I believe that living your faith should be a daily thing. Not just at Christmas and Easter time. I mostly try to follow the example of Jesus Christ each day of my life.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Nate
Mormon missionaries share the message that Jesus Christ shared. Being a Mormon missionary, I know very well what missionaries do on a day to day basis and what they teach in peoples homes. When missionaries first meet someone they try to get to know them and establish a comfortable friendship. They know that the gospel Christ taught is the most important thing and they try to show others how it can help them in their lives. Essentially, a missionary's purpose in being at your home is to invite you to come unto Christ. Whether to join the church through being baptized or to just come back to church, missionaries are their to help you build your faith in Christ. Show more Show less
