Hi I'm Keanupohina

I am Hawaiian, I lived in Texas for 2 years but am now back in Hawai'i nei, I like basketball and music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 21 years old, and love anything to do with music, basketball, and being Hawaiian. Give me an ukulele, guitar, or a bass, a beach, and some food, and I'd be just fine. Actually I'd probably need a little more than SOME food. I've attended BYU-Hawaii for a year, majoring in History Education and minoring in Hawaiian Studies, and am now home again after serving as a missionary all day (all day?) everyday and loving it. I was raised in the small town of Laie, Hawaii, where I learned that there's always a good movie playing in the visitor's center, to never turn your back on the ocean, and if you're sitting around while someone next to you is doing something, you better get up and go help them! It's the smart thing to do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because everytime I pray and ask God if this is true, He says yes.

How I live my faith

I served in the Texas Houston South Mission. I went out everyday sharing the good word, praying with AND for people, and serving them anyway I could. Nobody made me do it, but I believed it was the right thing to do and I try to do whatever the Lord tells me. Now I have the chance to take all that I've learned and help my family, friends, and neighbors in my hometown come a little closer everyday to our Savior Jesus Christ.
