Hi I'm Chad Phelps

I grew up in Kentucky I'm a son, and a brother, and I won't deny that I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 22 years old. I've served a mission, which means I leave my home, my family, friends, and job for two years in order to devote my time and energy to the Lord. I've finished high school, I'm curently studying at Western Kentucky University to become a physical therapist. In my free time I play video games watch TV and hang out with my friends. I love Animals, and I’m excited about sharing my story with you.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I was introduced to the LDS faith by my grandmother. I was baptized when i was 9. I used to go down to Florida to visit her every summer. She had seen an ad from the church talking about the Book of Mormon. She decided to order one, and had talked with the missionaries one or two times before i got there. While we were talking with the missionaries everything they were saying sounded amazing and i made the decision to be baptized with my grandmother that summer. To be completely honest with you I didn't fully understand what i was getting myself into by being baptized, but i know that this church has blessed my life and has given me the guidance i needed in my life. My parents aren't members but I've received a lot of encouragement from my home ward and I've felt blessings in my life that can only come from this gospel. I have no idea where i would be without this gospel in my life. I have been blessed.

How I live my faith

Well as stated before I've served a mission to Him. I give talks in Sacrament Meeting when asked. I've received callings in my ward. I was the Bishop's assistant my responsibility was just to make his calling a little easier for him. I go to church every week i can. I try my best to live my life in the way that I think Jesus would want me to live. I fail and come short of that goal, but I’m trying.
