Hi I'm Julia

I'm an actress. I sing in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I love being married, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of seven and I grew up in a small town in Utah. In my small town I was blessed to be involved in the art. Yes, I am a choir and drama geek. I have been in over 40 plays/musicals and I teach high school drama. I have found that being a member of this church has helped me to recognize truth in all its forms and has helped me relate with the people I work with and the characters I play. I served a full time mission in Houston Texas. I met all sorts of interesting people there and I am excited to use what I have learned on stage and in the classroom.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know for myself by the power of the Holy Ghost that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the Kingdom of God here on earth. I am a Mormon because I want to serve my fellow men both living and dead. The Church has shown me some of the most effective ways to do both. I am a Mormon because I have seen how the priesthood authority of God has blessed my life from saving ordinances to blessings of healings and comfort.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by bringing joy to as many people as I can every day. I smile, I greet, I serve, and I offer people the chance to hear about the restored gospel.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

As daughters of God we have divine roles that we have been blessed to fulfill. We are spiritual, more nurturing and more service oriented. I know we have been given power, our power just doesn't have a name. Show more Show less
