Hi I'm Richard

I am a Home Healthcare provider. i grew up in San diego, californina. I love Jesus Christ

About Me

I like woodworking, gardening, but most of all I like taking care of my Family. I love to fellowship Now.

Why I am a Mormon

This is a very good question. I searched over and over again by going from one church to an other. I found that a lot of these churches were not grounded in the gospel and true word of God. How i know is how i felt in the church with the persons around me. When the missionaries came, you felt the Love of Christ. There hand shake was like the feeling when you give a loved one a gift. That inside feeling of happiness and thrill of giving that gift. God gave me a gift. As the day was coming for me to be baptized, I was taught the meaning of Patience. It was like Christmas day for me. But i had to wait for that day to come. So when i got baptized on May 29,2010 i went to open the gift that God gave me. As I opened it, I looked inside the box and found that it was empty. This is truly the best gift anyone can ever get. Our Father in heaven has forgiven me of ALL my SINS and washed them away. Now it is my turn to fill the box with the gift of Our Lord and Savior. And share the true meaning of the gospel. I got a second chance. You too can get this second chance to clear your life of sin and live a Godly life in Christ. AMEN

How I live my faith

I was baptized May 29.2010 My faith started one day when God spoke to me and told me he is sending to me Missionaries. He told me to open the door and let them in for they have a message for me. When that day came and they knocked on my door, without hesitation, i opened the door and let them in. Since that day, the Missionaries have been coming to my house every day. This was as of May 01,2010. They continue to teach me more about the true word of God, and the wonderful works of Jesus Christ and how Joseph Smith Truly is a Prophet. I now home teach our neighbors and friends. I now live a life of Christ so that all others can see the true love of God.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Richard
The only way to answer this question is by example. If you as a head of your house, or be it single mother of father. You are the key to the success of the family. What you show and do is what your family will see. They will follow your way in Christ Jesus. Not only is it FAITH, but BELIEVE in what you do. Show the strong back bone you have not to fall into the earthly material, and ways. You are the foundation of the family. Teaching, reading, and living the word. Not by faith alone can you move forward. You must love your self and love in Christ. You must believe that what you are doing is GOD'S way. As to a relationship with our spouse, partner, you must compromise all things that you do TOGETHER. There is no one way street. Remember that you are now two head of house hold or going to be. There are two persons in a relationship. It is not what i say, but what WE agree on. Give a little and get a lot back. Keep your LOVE close and the bad problems far away. Live in Christ, Love in Christ, Believe in Christ. All things comes through Christ Jesus. No one can enter into my Kingdom, but through my SON, Jesus Christ your Savior. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Richard
WOW. The "testimony". This one i have to say it to try it and believe. "Ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find it. knock and it shall be opened". I too have searched for the right church. I too was lost. I too went knocking on church doors. Until our Father sent me missionaries. I read the book of Mormon, and found the missing pieces to the questions i had. You too will find them as you read. Find the closes Church near you and ask them to send their Missionaries. The are dedicated young Men and Women, who spread the news about the true Church of Jesus Christ Show more Show less

How does the Church finance its operations?

Richard
I too had that question. About our ten percent that we give to God. I was amazed to find out that NO ONE is paid to preach, teach, assist, or to spread the gospel. ONE HUNDRED percent of all tithings given to GOD and the CHURCH, gose to helping to build Temples, assist with world wide trageties, and those here at home. I am glad to know that i am not paying for someones $3,000.00 suit. It all gose to the works of GOD. AMEN Teaching the gospel is free, but assisting your fellow man, charity, and living and loving in the name of our LORD and SAVIOR. Priceless. Show more Show less
