Hi I'm Walter

I'm from Vegas. I love my Savior Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as a member of the Church, but didn't always know the power of the Book of Mormon or how a kowledge of my Savior Jesus Christ could impact my life. I always new that what my parents taught me was good and beneficial and so I lived a righteous life. I Love to play volleyball and run long distance. I am studying to be a mechanical engineer and plan to marry and have a family.

Why I am a Mormon

When I first began to truly apply the teachings of Jesus Christ in my life, I knew I could not deny the powerful impact it had. I witnessed my happiness increase "an hundred fold". I knew that the Book of Mormon had to be true! I felt the Holy Ghost and couldn't deny that God had a plan for my life. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because I have read it and I have prayed to God and asked him.

How I live my faith

I currently am serving a mission for the Lord in South London. I share about Jesus Christ and how he can truely help us every day. I have never felt more peace and love in my life. I just try and be like Christ because he is the perfect example.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

SUNSETS tell me there is a God. Everyday I look for the sunset and everyday it is different but in it's own way equally beautiful. FAMILIES tell me there is a God. Everytime I think about my family and how they can be together forever, I realize that God is there looking after my eternal happiness. THE SPIRIT is probably the most definate answer. I know there is a God because he has answered my prayer to know if he is there. Nothing can take that away. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The Atonement of Jesus Christ is the sacrifice he made of himself in our behalf. He suffered for each of us individually so that we would not have to pay the price for our sins. He felt everything that you have every felt; all your loneliness, guilt, pain, and sorrow so that he could help us in our time of need and save us from our sins. Without his sacrifice, there would be no way to find happiness and return to live with God and our families again. Show more Show less

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Simply put, God has told us to pay tithing thorough the scriptues and living prophets. It is not just a "Mormon" thing but a God thing. I pay tithing because I know God has told me to and I try and do what says. God will "pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to recieve it" if you pay tithing and I have found this promise to be true. Show more Show less
