Hi I'm David

I'm a christian and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born on May 29, 1953 and grew up in a family company that designed and produced ladies sleepwear, loungewear, and robes. After a humble start in 1939 by my maternal grandparents, the company grew to be one of the largest intimate apparel companies in the United States. My wife and I were blessed to have four wonderful children. Now, as empty nesters, we enjoy visiting our children and grandchildren, snow skiing, scuba diving, bicycling, and sailing the Caribbean

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in another church but while in high school I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and witnessed my entire immediate family baptized in the church over the next couple of years. I remember the change in my life as I became acclimated to a new way of life. I quickly realized that it was not just a Sunday event but a pathway to return to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Living a life of integrity is one of my greatest goals. Another goal would be to live a life so that when people are around me that they would want to know more about my beliefs and to know what the catalyst is that makes me the way I am.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

We believe that it is essential for each of us to be actively engaged in doing good things. We also believe that faith without works is dead. But we also believe that no matter how hard we work we cannot return to Heavenly Father without grace or without utilizing the atonement of Jesus Christ in our lives. Grace is a principle that plays a major role in each of our lives on a daily basis if we allow it to--for without grace we have no hope. Show more Show less
