Do you want to chat with a missionary?

We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi I'm Michael

Im 20 yrs old, live in Adelaide. I love going beach and longboarding!

About Me

I have lived in Adelaide all my life. I am a qualified carpenter and currently serving as a volunteer missionary for two years in Melbourne for the church. I love going beach everyday during summer and being outdoors with my mates. Love going longboarding, playing basketball and football when i get a chance . I am the youngest of 6 and have 3 nephews and 2 nieces. Love spending time with my close and extended family.

Why I am a Mormon

Im a mormon because i want to have a better/happier life. As i live the principles and commandments its draws me closer to my Jesus Christ and my father in heaven and it gives my comfort of whats to come. I was brought up in the church but like everyone i had to find out it was true for myself which was by having spiritual experiances, reading the scriptures and much pray. I can see how its blessed my family and would definitely want that for my own some day.

How I live my faith

At the moment i live my faith by serving a 2 year mission for the church in Melbourne Australia by inviting people to draw closer to their Savior. Every day we find people to share a message with them about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and how we can live happier lives. I have felt the Saviors love for me and have found happiness by living these teachings and commandments and want other people to receive blessings in there lives as i have had in mine.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Michael
We need a Savior because we all need to be saved from our sins. We all make mistakes only Jesus Christ is perfect. Through the Atonement we can become clean from our sins and live with him again. The Atonement has played a big part in my life because it gives me comfort that when i do sin there is a way that i can repent and be forgiven for my sins. Show more Show less
