Hi I'm Josh

I grew up in England, i'm 21, i hate vegetables and I'm a Mormon

About Me

So, my name's Josh, i am originally from England, born and raised! Right now however, i am serving as a missionary in the Idaho Pocatello Mission and it is really been a great experience so far. I am a pretty easy going type of guy and like to think i get along with most people, i really like to read, mainly science fiction, i also play alot of sports, growing up it was volleyball and and rugby and a bit of table tennis, but since i have been in Americe, i have missed and discovered a passion for soccer aka FOOTBALL!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because it is right. I grew up my whole life as a Mormon, but was truly converted when i was 18, even though that is a long time to live without being 100% sure that this is right, something always resonated within me that this was the right path, no matter what happened or who i was around, i couldn't deny that this was true, so when a confirmation came, it made it easier to live, because now i knew for sure it was true. Why am i a Mormon? I guess for me it was never an option not to be, because I always knew it was true, whether I understood that or not.

How I live my faith

I live it on my sleeve! It is really who I am now, do i face challenges? Ofcourse! Are they easy to overcome? Not always, but i live my faith by constantly trying my best to show the Lord I love him, and i do that by keeping his commandments. Also, for a while i was a youth leader for all the 12-13 year old boys, we would have an activity every tuesday and a gospel discussion every sunday. After that i was a teacher for all the 11 and 12 year olds, we would learn about the gospel together every Sunday, it was really rewarding. Oh and now i am a missionary.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

We increase faith in Jesus Christ by exercising it. If i want to build my biceps, i will lift weights, if i want to increase in faith, i will lift spiritual weights. You can do this by reading scriptures, praying sincerely and listening for an answer and coming to church Most importantly, our fatih is increased when we are obedient to his commandments, especially when it is a sacrifice for us. Put it to the test, live his commandments, no matter how hard it is and then see the blessings. It's pretty good. Show more Show less
