Hi I'm Jeremy

I love the south, I love sports, i'm a full time missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the son of two wonderful parents. I was raised in a loving LDS home with good work ethics and even better values. I grew up playing sports and my love for them continues to grow as does my competetiveness. Above all I love my savior Jesus Christ and currently serve him as a full time missionary in the great state of Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up and was raised in an amazing LDS home with great parents and siblings who are strong in the church. That doesn't mean i always knew it was true ha We all have to come to know it by some means. Mine was through the atonement of Jesus Christ. I learned first-hand about and had to rely on the atonement at a relatively young age to overcome some serious problems. It was through those hard times filled with anger at myself, bitterness over actions and long nights that i slowly gained a testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ. I will not and cannot ever deny the reality of the divinity of Christ. But being who i was at the time, that wasn't enough. I never once could remember having felt the "burning in my bosom" so often used in reference to the spirit. It wasn't until i was 16 or so that i finally had enough and was willing to humble myself enough to conform to God's will. I remember at an EFY, pouring out my heart out to God and pleading with him to let me know he was there. To let me FEEL his spirit. And he did :) After that the only thing that made sense was to base my life around those feelings, which i happily strive to do each day.

How I live my faith

At this wonderful point in my life i have the privilege of serving a full time, two year mission in the state of Utah. That includes total imerssion in the Lord's work, 24/7 for twenty four months. What an immense blessing it is! To teach God's children about the plan he has for them.. When we're baptized we covenant with our Heavenly father that we will, "Take upon ourselves the name of Christ, always remember him and keep his commandments". I strive each day to magnify that covenant. Compared to the blessings he so abundantly promises It's the least i can do right?
