Hi I'm Nathan Osborne

I'm a skinny, witty, shy guy and I'm a MORMON

About Me

I am a pretty normal kid. I like to live life as stress free as possible. My philosphy is that if I am doing whats right, everything will work out the way it should, and so there really is no need to fret about life. As I have gotten older I have learned to love living life unscripted and unstructured, flying by the seat of my pants, and letting the wind blow me to where ever it may. I also think that life is beautiful, and that we should all try and make the most of it each day. There is no reason to be angry or negative, when there is so much beauty around us. My hobbies are mostly playing and watching sports (pretty much of all kinds), and playing or listening to music.

Why I am a Mormon

I was actually raised and brought up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and so its something I have always been a part of. The reason that I choose to stay a "mormon" though (other than the spirit and happiness that I have felt as I have prayed about it, read The Book of Mormon, and lived the teachings) is because I love what this gospel teaches. I love that it encourages us to become more like Christ. I love that it teaches good morals and values. And everything that we teach and claim to have makes sense The Book of Mormon, the same Preisthood Authority that Christ has, and the restoration of the fulness of Christ's church on the earth again today.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving a mission for my Church. I love it. I get to see people come closer to their Savior Jesus Christ. And ultimately, I really just end up doing the same thing. I get to help bring families together for all of eternity as well. When I'm not on my mission though I try and be a disciple of Christ. That is, by loving one another.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Nathan Osborne
Many things tell me that there is a God. Simply just looking outside and observing all that the beautiful things that nature has to offer. Learning about the sciences and how everything works. Looking into the cosmos and seeing all the stars. Learning about how complex our bodies are and how many things must go perfect for them to function. But most importantly feeling his love. Praying and feeling that He hears me and knows me. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Nathan Osborne
I am so grateful for the grace of God and of Jesus Christ. I believe that only through The Grace of Christ will I be able to receive the Salvation that I want. I do however believe that I am not entitled to this grace. That I can only receive it by doing my part. "for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do" 2 Nephi 25:23. it only makes sense to me that in order to recieve the most amazing blessings, that we have to put on our effort and work. Luckily all that Jesus Christ asks of us in order to recieve this blessing is to have faith in Him, repent of our mistakes, be baptized, recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost, and then endure to the end.
