Hi I'm Dave

I have lived in 6 different places. I started a business at 18 andI'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in New Hampsire. Im a recent High School graduate, currently serving as a missionary for the Church. I had a fairly busy life before the mission. Cramming a difficult construction job with a lawn care company. I left for my church mission in November 2010. Back before I was a missionary I loved out door activites including fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, snowboarding, ice fishing, hunting, shooting sports, atving and many others.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in a family were we have always been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Now that I am an adult I have chosen for my self to stay active with the Church. Several reasons made me come to my decision. First they teach all about family values. Contrasting my family life to friends has shown me that we have a very strong loving family. I’m incredibly grateful for this fact as I here about rough family conditions, divorce, and bad family relations. The difference between my family and my friends is we have the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our home. Another reason I love our faith is because I have received personal witness of Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon through the Holy Ghost. What other religion tells you to pray about its teachings and ask Heavenly Father for a personal witness? We stress gaining a personal testimony of the Doctrines we teach. We search the scriptures personally praying about different passages for improved understanding not relying on another person to tell us what they mean. I would do anything and give up my life for the church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to keep all the commitments i have made by choosing to participate in the Mormon faith. Its surprising to me to see that our members more often then not stick to there faith and live what we preach. I am also serving a mission to fulfill my priesthood duty's in Colorado. Living the principles of our faith brings so many blessing from our Heavenly Father I'm not sure what life would be like without them!
