Hi I'm Daniel

I'm serving a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in California. I plan to study law after I complete my 2-year full time mission for the Church. I love being a missionary and helping others come to know Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ lives and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His Church. By reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible I have come to know of the love our Savior has for each of us. I am a Mormon because being a Mormon allows me opportunities on a daily basis to act Christian, to do as Jesus would do. I am a Mormon because I know that Thomas S. Monson, the Lord's prophet on the earth today, holds the authority needed to direct the Church. Because of my faith, I have hope for a better life. I know that I can repent and become as He is.

How I live my faith

I am a full-time missionary for the Church. I am serving in the Massachusetts Boston Mission and I love it. As a missionary I help spread the news about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

We have Apostles because we need direction in these troubling times. They are special witnesses of Jesus Christ and all have a perfect knowledge of His reality. They are His friends. Of course we can all receive revelation from our Father in Heaven on things pertaining to us, but having 12 Apostles who are also prophets gives us the benefit of knowing God's will for us all. We take their words as scripture because they receive revealed spiritual truths from God and convey them directly to us. Those 12 Apostles hold the power and authority necessary to allow us to return to our Heavenly Father. If we follow their direction we enjoy the blessings of obedience. The Lord loves all of His children and has provided us the blessing of having Living Apostles to carry on the same mission that the Apostles of old had, to witness of Him. Show more Show less

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Come and see! As a people, we try to be as Christian as possible. We have opportunities regularly to assist others in and out of the congregation who need our help. In addition to these organized opportunities, we also give service to others when we see a need, member of the Church or not. We teach the teachings of Jesus, and we do our best to live His teachings. We strive to live as the Savior would. By no means are we perfect, we all make mistakes, but we try to do what He would do always. I love being a Mormon and I invite anyone who wants to follow the teachings of Jesus to come and live as we strive to live. If you do so, you will find happiness and come to know that this is the Lord's Church. Show more Show less
