Hi I'm June

I'm a Mormon. I Love It!

About Me

I am a wife, mother to the best dog in the world, and I do accounting for a local business. I have three sisters who are my best friends, even though some of us live apart. I have many interests some are, quilting, reading, boating, shopping and spending time with my husband and my dog, Maggie. I love people and love entertaining in my home.

Why I am a Mormon

My family joined the church when the missionaries went through a small town in South Carolina and my grandmother and her children joined the church. My father which was one of those children stayed faithful in the gospel. After my parents got married, my mother joined the church and they raised my sisters and me in the gospel. I have always had a strong love for the church. The greatest thing about the church for me is the happiness and comfort that it gives me when I follow its simple teachings. It gives us a plan to follow in this life.

How I live my faith

Since I have been a member my entire life, I have had many opportunities to do service in the church. I currently participate in helping in the women's organization and I feel a close bond with each one of them. It is a lot of work, but the blessings that I receive from doing this are many.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

June
I am very grateful that my parents, after fifty years of marriage, had the opportunity to go to the temple and be sealed together for not just this life, but the next. It was not too long after this that my mother passed away and then several years later my father. This knowledge was the one thing that got my through their deaths and gave me peace to know that I would see them again. I know that I will live with them in heaven as a family. Show more Show less
