Hi I'm Brian

I was raised in Hawaii, then moved to Seattle, Washington. I am a missionary serving in Houston, Texas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love working with computers, including computer animation. I enjoy drawing, rock climbing, and skiing. I am an Eagle Scout. I have played the violin. I was born and raised in Hawaii for 9 years, then moved to Seattle, Washington, and have been there ever since. I attended private school up until 9th grade, then started going to public school, and struggled. I found out in my Senior year of high school that I had A.D.D.. During high school I struggled with addictions, and I have overcome them. I am currently serving a mission in Houston, Texas.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church all my life. My mother is a member of the church, but my father is not. I have always believed the things taught in church were true, but I didn't know for myself if they were true. When I came out on my mission, I began praying to know if these things which I have been taught all my life were true, and after two weeks of sincere prayer to know, God answered my prayers, and by the power of the Holy Ghost, told me that these things are true. I struggled for many years with addictions, but after I came out on my mission, I found grace and comfort through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I have seen the power of Atonement work a mighty change in my heart and in the hearts of others. God has saved me from things I never thought I could escape. He showed me His love for me, by helping me to repent and be forgiven of those things of the past. I now feel of God's love everyday, and thank Him the miracles He has performed in my life.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary for two years, and during this period of time, we as missionaries set aside all things which are worldly such as worldly books, music, movies, video-games, etc. We study from the scriptures every morning, and we focus on God, learning and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are on bike all day long, talking to everyone we meet, sharing about the message we share. We also set appointments with those we meet to visit them in their homes to share more of our message with them. We visit people and share about how God out of His love for us has called a prophet to lead and guide us in these days, and how God has a plan for us. We invite others to go to the source and to ask God if the things we share are true. We invite them to make the changes in their lives that will help them to come closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
