Hi I'm Jalaire

I love Theatre, Sports, and being Outdoors. I'm a movie quoting queen, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Theatre. Life. Movies. Outdoors. Sports. Bring it on. I like to take on challenges. I have learned from a young age to work hard. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right the first time. I graduated in Theatre Management and I absolutely love it. I love to share stories, unfold epic journies, and bring to life the magic of a good adventure. My family is very important to me. They make me act crazy goofy, laugh til i cry and love every minute of time together!

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have from the beginning known that it was true. Growing up I would hear all of these grand stories of how other people found the gospel and joined the church, but I never had that. I never doubted that it was true, but I couldn't think of the exact moment that I had the definite affirmation of the truth. One day while I was sitting in church, I felt a blanket of peace and love come over me. I knew then as well as I know now that this Gospel is true. My Heavenly Father loves and knows me personally, and I don't have to have a cool story to convince me that I am truly converted. I have known little by little, and continue to learn and grow. I continue to follow these teachings because I feel of my Savior's love and guidance in my life. I feel at peace and great joy as I follow Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I study the Scriptures... I apply them to my life.... and I share the gospel with anyone and everyone that I possibly can.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Jalaire
The Priesthood was given to worthy men to act in the name of God. It is the responsability given directly to them from our Heavenly Father. Women not holding the priesthood in no way makes them inferior to men. Women and men have been given different roles. We have the oppertunity to raise children in rightousness. Both men and women in the church have the oppertunity to teach each other, lift one another, and help to increase the faith of every person. Show more Show less
