Hi I'm Sierra

I'm a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a woman who is doing her best to live life to its fullest. My days are filled with work, family, friends and most importantly my religion. I believe all these things guide my everyday actions and have shaped me into the person I am. I enjoy learning from others and sharing the knowledge I have gained through study and experience. I recently married my best friend in the temple and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Between working full time, taking care of our home so it can be a peaceful, safe place, and fulfilling my church responsibilities, I have come to understand what it's like to juggle multiple responsibilities and struggle to stay on top. I love adventure. Whether it be a new hobby or a new food, I'm usually willing to give it a try. I enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, swimming, singing to the car radio and dancing. I come from a family of six. Except for my wonderful father, there are only girls. Yep, that's right, no brothers. We are pretty close and I wouldn't want to live my life without them. I believe families are forever and this brings me happiness. Life for me is one big experience filled with many small experiences. It's a time to find who we are and become who we want to be. I believe we are free to choose the path we will take in life by choosing the way we react to each experience we are faced with. Life is to be enjoyed and with God nothing is impossible!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My parents are members and from the time I can remember I have been taught the doctrine and principles of Christ's church and have grown to love my Savior, my religion, and everything it stands for. I chose to be baptized at the age of eight and from that time forward I have strived to better understand the teachings of Christ and be an example of what I believe. Although I was born into the church I have never been forced to believe what I do. I have prayed and received confirmation that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I choose to be a Mormon. I know that it is true because I find peace and happiness in it. This gosple is about joy and that is what I feel when I live my life after the example of our Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a part of my ward and participating in activites supported by the church. I go to church every Sunday and participate in lessons where I am taught about my Savior and His life. I do visitng teaching each month by visiting a few sisters in my ward and sharing a short message about a gospel princible. I do my best to study the scriptures on my own and strengthen my own testimony of important truths. I also attend the Lord's temple as often as I can. It is here that I can forget about the troubles of the world. Within those sacred walls I feel close to God and gain added strength and peace.
