Hi I'm Adriana

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Argentina and live in the United States.

About Me

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since 1967. I am a convert to the Church. I love to knit and learn about organic gardening. I have a passion for learning new things and enjoy country music. I am a mother of three grown children. I have traveled extensively and worked for the education system. I love to learn about the origin of words and linguistics. I speak Spanish, English and Italian, the language of my grandparents. I love to make things with my hands. If I had the chance to live another life I would become a Nautical Engineer in order to build ocean liners. I love to learn about them since I was a little girl. Currently I am serving a mission for our church with my husband. We started in 2011 and will be done in about 6 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I met the missionaries when I was a teenager and wanted to learn more about God. I was introduced to the Book of Mormon and was baptized immediately after that. I know that God lives and that Jesus is the Christ. I believe that the Church is true because I have prayed, fasted and tried to live my life worthy to receive the influence of the Holy Ghost which testifies that the gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I have been active in my various wards all my life. I have been involved in teaching, particularly Sunday School. Currently I am serving a mission and the opportunities to serve are many such as sharing the gospel and teaching in various capacities.

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

A person can become a member of the church by receiving instruction from the missionaries. These servants of the Lord were set apart and prepared to teach the Gospel and to guide the investigators in their path to becoming to baptism. Prayer, study of the scriptures, becoming familiar with the Book of Mormon, attending church and asking questions will help to receive the influence of the Holy Ghost who will testify that the Gospel is true.
