Hi I'm Bree

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. Currently I stay home to raise our baby girl while my husband is finishing up school. We love camping and traveling. Currently our favorite TV show is Castle and we like playing games with our families and our neighbors.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised in the church, when I was a teenager I wasn't really interested in religion. However, I feel I am very blessed that even though I didn't really like the church, I never strayed far from the lifestyle. I never thought that it was a bad thing to not do drugs or drink, or to abstain from sex. As I got older I was able to have a few very special, very real spiritual experiences and some very good friends that helped put me back on the path to wanting to know the truth and in seeking for truth, I have found it and I have not strayed from that truth since. I have a truly wonderful family and a marriage that makes me happy every day. We owe so much to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In trying to follow Him, we are able to think more unselfishly and serve more willingly. This strengthens our relationships every day and just makes us happy people.

How I live my faith

My family and I are all active members of the Midvale 2nd ward. I am currently called as the visiting teaching leader. In our last ward our bishop had a real vision about home and visiting teaching and it was very important to him, so it's become very important to me. Through visiting teaching we can reach out to all of the women in the ward and when we all do our part we are able to find out about and meet specific needs of all of our members.
