Hi I'm Casey

Now I'm serving the Biggest example Ever Jesus Christ!! I'm serving him in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm a Mormon for life.

About Me

I am an outgoing person who once in awhile like a good boost to life. I love service and helping friends. I come from a very small family; just me and my brother; who has been a great influence in my life. I have been known to stick out of a crowd especially when I want to be crazy!! I love life and have hleped many others with life. I Love school, sports, family, and pets. I'm an Eagle Scout.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, but I truly figured out it was true when I had some hard experiences right before my mission. I know that being a missionary is what I need to be, and that I will serve the Lord with all my heart, mind, and strentgh. I also know that Joseph Smith wouldn't have sacrificed so much just for a Book, but he sacrificed so much for the Gospel of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. I've come to a knowledge from Heavenly Father that He is there and He does listen to Everyone. I also know that He restored the Gospel to the Earth, that mankind can feel his love always. That Gospel is found in the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I have been in many leadership positions as a Member of the Latter-Day Faith. I know how much family means to me and that's how I express the truth is by my example to others.Everyone is my heavenly brother or sister. I also have chosen to serve the Lord in a two-year mission that hopefully through it, I'll be able to share the Gospel and give Everyone the truth that we all need for life.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Casey
Temples have been around since the beginning of time, although they have had different meanings. Only worthy members of the Church of Jesus Christ can go through a temple, also new members can go through the temple after a year of building their faith and their Testimony of Christ. Relating back to the time of Christ we see that there were temples built and the people made a mockery of the temple by doing unworthy things inside of the temple such as gambling, marketing and so forth. This made Christ very dissappointed, thus he did cast out those who did not belong in the temple. All Temples say "Holiness to The Lord." and "The House of The Lord" These two statements refer to where the Presence of our Heavenly Father is to dwell. No unworthy person can enter into the his presence, this is stated in the scriptures. 1 Nephi 10:21"Wherefore, if ye have sought to do wickedly in the days of your probation, then ye are found unclean before the judgment-seat of God and no unclean thing can dwell with God wherefore, ye must be cast off forever." Is the Temple secret or sacred? The temples are sacred, just like in the commandments. We are cammanded not to take the Lord's name in vain, this shows that his name is Sacred not a secret. What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Casey
The things that I have learned about reading the scriptures is that we can learn about our relationship with God. We can start to understand that we are sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father and cause of that we all are very important. The biggest blessing of knowing these things from the scriptures is that we all have our own unique purpose in this life and that life will be easy. This is only drawing closer to God. I think that the scriptures are really Journals made by man but present God to us and this is how I am blessed from the scriptures. Show more Show less
