Hi I'm Char

I love to hip-hop dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 22 years old and I am married to my best friend in the entire world. I love to do anything outdoors including, surfing, riding bikes, rollerblading, and skateboarding. I love to be spontaneous and I especially love hip-hop dancing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have gained a testimony for myself that the teachings of this church are true. I have gotten down on my knees and prayed asking if the things being taught are true and I have felt an overwhelming peace come over me letting me know that it is right. I receive happiness and joy from attending church and living by the standards.

How I live my faith

I currently teach the 1.5 to 2 year olds every sunday at church with my husband. We teach a short lesson every week and we sing songs with them. We teach them about Jesus's love for all of his children. We also teach them about being reverent and about treating others kindly. From teaching these small children I have thought about how amazing it is that God trusts us enough to send chidren to us to raise and teach.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Char
We can come to know our Heavenly Father by praying to him. We pray to our heavenly father and we close our prayers in the name of Jesus Christ. By praying to our heavenly father we receive answers and we come to know him. The more we communicate to our father, the more he in return communicates through us as he answers our prayers. What do Mormons believe about family?

Char
We believe that families are essential to Heavenly Father's plan of happiness. This is why geneology is so important to us. We want to give everyone the opportunity to accept the gospel into their lives even if its not in this life. We believe that one of Satan's greatest tools to destroy God's children is to target the family. The Mormons believe that families are very important. This is why the prophets have told us to have family prayer and family scripture study daily. We have also been told to reserve Monday night for family night. The whole family attends church together every Sunday and each child has their own class. There are Sunday school classes for children ages one and a half to adults. Show more Show less
