Hi I'm Brian

I am 36 years old married with 2 children and three dogs and I love the lord

About Me

I have been a member all my life but was inactive for a period of time I have since come back to a active memebr and can now say i have joy in my life. I am married and have 2 kids and 3 dogs I am a computer programmer and love sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I became LDS at a young age mainly because of my parents, I would not say that I had a strong testimony of the church back when I was a child however I always went to activity and loved hanging out with church members. When I was about 19 I met my wife and she was much like me we knew of the church but really did not attend. My wife and I felt that we were missing something in our marriage and our lives so we, with some help of my best friends and encouragement from parents, decided to go back to church. That was all it took for me, when I walk through the doors of the chapel I felt the spirit strong and the welcome I got was wonderful and as I kept attending and learning the gospel I felt the lord more and more in my life. Me and my wife felt a joy that we never had before and as we brought Christ into our home, our marriage became stronger. I love the church and the members and it is great to know that we have a prophet on this earth that continues to guide us and protect us. The words of the Book of Mormon are true and it is another testament of our Savior. I know that our Father in Heavens answers our prayers and that he cares about us. As my family has grown, so has the faith of my kids and how the Lord has strengthen them. I have been so blessed in my life. It all started by walking in that chapel that day and feeling the spirit of wonderful brother and sister just like me. The Lord gives us trial to make us stronger all we must do is have faith in Him. The church teaches wonderful family values and instill in our children moral courage. I have met wonderful men and women who have given me strength to progress in my life as well as teach me the true meaning of charity and the love God has for each of us. I have only found that in one place. I pray that whatever step you decide to make, that the Lord may bless you and hold you tightly in his palm.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday, I oversee the wards activity and am responsible for the Youth in my ward. I spend time serving my fellow members, by teaching them in there home and counseling with them when they are experiencing problems in their life's. I read my scriptures and pray daily. Most of all I try following the teachings of our Savior. I try to lead my family righteously in every word, deed, and act we do for others. Our faith grows every time we help others around us as we serve our fellow men.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a member of the church is awesome, I have so many friends that love and care for me. The members in my ward look out for each other and that is refreshing. It is a wonderful feeling to know that when you are down and need someone to talk that you have a support group like the members to help lift you up. There are fun activity to do and the spirit of the lord is always there.  Show more Show less
