Hi I'm Tim E..

I'm a Mormon. I am a convert to the church and know that Jesus Christ truly loves me!

About Me

I want to be able to make a difference in this world. To leave something behind that is of relevance. In doing so I have lived my life, to the best of my ability, dedicated to family and my religion. I strive on a daily basis to bring a smile to those I come in contact with. To uplift the downtrodden. I am optimistic. As you can see I am part of so many words. Tim is of importance to vocabulary as much as Time is of existence. I have given 58 years so far and plan on staying around for much more. I love to travel and gain experience from those I come in contact. I love and embrace life and try to overcome adversity. By profession I am a Graphic Designer. I love art and the beauty the world displays. I would live in the outdoors all the time if I could. I love to camp, hike, swim and bike. My real passion is my wife,3 kids and 6 grand kids, not to mention parents and siblings.

Why I am a Mormon

We were the typical '60's family. Having a good time, enjoying the moment. Then one day 2 young men happened on our doorstep. Elder's Stenzel and Wagner had a message to present. The Golden Question...we listened to these young men and their testimonies of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. We all 7 of us joined the church after about 3 months of investigation. We had lots of people help in this process of conversion. Good members that visited, fellowshipped and made sure we understood the principles of the Gospel. About a year later we went to the temple in Salt Lake city to be sealed. Because of this simple act of sacrifice from these 2 young men, there have been at least 100 others brought to the knowledge of the true gospel. I have seen a change in my life. I was 14 when the Elders stopped by and now have a wife and family. 3 kids, 2 married and another just about ready to graduate high school. 6 grand kids for now. My wife and I were sealed in Salt Lake City also in 1981...coming up on 30 years this August. I love the gospel with all my heart. I know it to be true, every aspect of it. From the Book of Mormon, to latter day prophets, to Joseph Smith revelations, to the power of the priesthood. I know that Jesus has atoned for me. I know that He and Heavenly Father know me...every aspect, my strengths and weaknesses. There is so much more to share about my real conversion. To know for sure you must take Moroni's challenge in the Book of Mormon, to read, study and ponder if this is true. If you do so with a sincere heart you will know. You will know....this journey through life isn't always easy, but the journey through the eternities is worth the investigation. This I leave with you in the name of Jesus Christ. amen.

How I live my faith

Having been in the church for sometime it has been my opportunity to serve in various callings. A calling is a position that the priesthood leadership has prayed about full filling and received a manifestation by the power of the Holy Ghost in this regard. I have had the opportunity to serve the youth and to participate in scouting in the church in one capacity or the other since 1978. These probably are my most cherished memories, as I was able to see my two sons advance and love the outdoor experience that scouting and the church provide. I have also served in many leadership capacities as a teacher. The purpose is to serve others through and as magnifying your calling no matter what it might be. The opportunity to teach, expound and serve others gives you the opportunity to learn first hand what the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ are, first hand. For this is what the Savior did for all of us.
